Adesua Joan Oni

Meet Adesua Joan Oni (TheSteppedupNurse), a visionary nurse leader, entrepreneur, and dedicated advocate for maternal healthcare. With a strong background in nursing and midwifery, Adesua works with the Federal Government of Nigeria and completed her Master’s degree in International Public Health at Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
As the founder of the Pregnancy Support Foundation (PSF), Adesua provides holistic support to pregnant women and new mothers through online webinars, teaching, and community outreach. Her PSF Academy has impacted over 350 individuals, and her physical outreaches have benefited numerous expectant women in Kaduna, Abuja, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos States of Nigeria.
Adesua is a prolific author, having written 20 books on healthcare, pregnancy, and professional development. Her books are available on Selar and Amazon, and she regularly shares impactful health-related content on social media.
As a virtual course creator, coach, mentor, and trainer, Adesua has delivered over 100 online trainings and created several courses on nursing, leadership, and personal branding. Her Steppedup Nurse Academy (SNA) offers a range of programs, including the SNA Mentorship Programme, Speak-Like-A-Pro, and Personal Branding for Health Professionals.

She is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and podcaster, known for her inspiring stories and lifestyle principles.
Through her online communities, including Blessed Impactful Mega-woman, Steppedup Nurse Academy and SNA Health Writers, to mention but a few, Adesua empowers women and health professionals to make a positive impact. Her Steppedup Speakers Academy and Steppedup Mentorship Academy offer training and mentorship programs for those seeking personal and professional growth.
Adesua is currently the convener for LINKEDIN LOCAL-KADUNA, an powerful event that would host 6 speakers and 1000 participants, scheduled to hold on the 16th of November, 2024.
Adesua is a devoted wife, mother of two, and a passionate advocate for maternal healthcare and nursing excellence.
